PumpX · by Petrovyx

Artificial lift and ESP design, solved against the whole system.

PumpX designs electric submersible pump installations against the well's real inflow and outflow — so pump, motor, cable and gas-handling selections are made on the operating point the system will actually see.

Solves the lift problem

Artificial lift is where reservoir, wellbore and surface meet. PumpX treats it that way: the inflow performance, the wellbore pressure traverse and the surface back-pressure are all part of the same model, and the pump is selected where the inflow and outflow curves meet.

Design against inflow and outflow

Nodal analysis at the pump intake, with the correlation and its validity range visible beside every result. Intake pressure, free gas at intake and the operating point follow from the model — not from a spreadsheet beside it.

Equipment selection

Pump, motor, cable and gas-handling equipment selected against the operating envelope, with sensitivity cases for frequency, water cut and reservoir pressure.

Connected to everything else

PumpX shares wells, PVT and equipment data with every other Petrovyx application. A change to the reservoir model in BalanceX or the network in NetworkX shows up in the lift design without a file exchange.
